WHY NURSING FORMS ARE NOT IN BANKS YET??

Are you surprised of why nursing forms are not in Banks yet??

There is no dought that the release of nursing training forms was anounced by the ministry of health early March 2023 but surprisingly the forms are not in banks for the commencement of their sales.

What may be the reason??

It is porported that the sales of the forms will begin early may and end at 30th May. This means only short period will be  alocated for the sales of the forms. This is to prevent  alot of the mass from applying since this is a critical sector and demands that only those with passion are admitted. One must note that currently, the sales of the forms are not been authorized by the board yet hence any individual who claims to be possessing the forms for sale is a fraudster. Becareful not to contact those people for any form. The forms are only sold in ADB( Agriculture Development Bank) and GBC (Ghana Commercial bank)  and some times post offices.

Applicants must write entrance exams??

It has been reported that most students manover to pass the WASSCE excellently but performs woefully when admitted into the nursing training colleges. This is hurtic to the principals of the nursing training colleges and hence deem it necessary for applicants to write entrance exams before admitting them into the schools.

Another reason is the economic hardship we are battling with.

Three barges of nurses are still in the house waiting for their appointments. Thus, 2020, 2021 and 2022 barges. The truth is that more than sixty percent of our graduates trope in our nursing training colleges every year according to the current startistics. In view  of this, government find it difficult to employ them based on the monies loss as a result of COVID pandemic and Russia Ukraine crises.
This year may be "no admission into nursing training college"
All nurses are bonded by government hence it's incombant upon government to employ them though the period is not specified. Meditarians and economics agree to the fact that one year  non-admission into the sector will help stabilize the system hence they should not admit students this year.
